Rooted in the beauty of West Michigan, I found my artistic calling. A graduate of Western Michigan University's Art Program and Kendall College of Art and Design. As an Art Educator, I channel this calling to guide others.
Having participated in Grand Rapid's Art Prize competition, my journey evolved into crafting art and design that speaks volumes. From bespoke creations for clients to pieces that find a place in homes, each carries significance and makes a statement.
Fueled by a passion for teaching and a deep connection to my roots, I've navigated a dual path. While teaching art full time to students, I've also nurtured a commissions-based small art business. My creative journey embraces a diverse range of mediums, from custom hand-painted acrylic pet portrait pillows and wall hangings, to intricate needle-felted wool animal portraits. I also specialize in crafting custom fiber wall hangings and designs, as well as hand-collected Lake Michigan Rocks coasters.
Influenced and inspired by realism with a touch of impressionism, my work is bold in texture and lifelike colors. When I'm not creating, you'll find me spending cherished moments with my husband and family. I also enjoy digging my hands in the dirt through gardening and nurturing plants, all while taking leisurely walks with our pup Vincenza.
Come along for the ride as we explore the world of art, where each creation weaves a tale of meaning and beauty.
